Programme Duration
The Express Miles Rewards programme runs from 2 January 2026 to 31 December 2026. Customers may begin accruing qualifying mileage at any point during the programme year. Points are calculated based on completed, invoiced and fully paid shipments only.
Eligibility
The programme is open to all Express Transit account customers. Only loaded miles qualify for standard mileage points.
A minimum qualifying threshold of 2,500 loaded miles must be reached before standard mileage points begin to accrue. Referral bonus points are exempt from this threshold as set out below.
Points are issued per account and are non-transferable.
Earning Points
1 loaded mile = 1 point (after the qualifying threshold is reached).
Points are only credited once the associated invoices have been paid in full. Points hold no cash value.
Bonus Opportunities
From time to time, Express Transit may offer promotional incentives including:
- Double points periods (e.g. January launch promotion)
- Referral bonuses
- Anniversary or loyalty milestone rewards
All promotional bonuses are offered at the discretion of Express Transit and subject to specific qualifying criteria.
Referral Rewards
Existing Express Miles Rewards customers can earn 1,000 bonus points for successfully introducing a new customer to Express Transit.
A new customer is a business that has not previously placed a transport booking with Express Transit. Businesses previously contacted through sales or marketing activities may still qualify, provided they have never made a booking.
The referral must be communicated to Express Transit before the referred customer places its first booking.
The 1,000 bonus points will be awarded once the referred customer has completed its first transport booking and the associated invoice has been paid in full.
The reward is a one-off bonus for each successfully introduced new customer. No further referral points are awarded for that customer’s subsequent bookings.
The referred customer does not need to reach the standard 2,500 loaded-mile qualification threshold for the referring customer to receive the referral bonus.
Where multiple customers claim the same referral, Express Transit will determine which referral, if any, qualifies. All referrals are subject to verification and approval by Express Transit.
Referral points form part of the referring customer’s points balance and are redeemable only under the standard voucher redemption terms.
Redemption
Express Miles Rewards vouchers are issued only upon customer request and will not be distributed automatically. Customers may request redemption of eligible points during the programme year or no later than 28 February of the following year.
When requesting vouchers, customers must confirm the email address to which the vouchers should be sent. Express Transit may seek confirmation from, or include in correspondence, additional authorised contacts at the customer’s business for verification and transparency.
Voucher tiers:
- 2,500 points = £25
- 5,000 points = £60
- 10,000 points = £130
Balances below the 2,500-point / £25 minimum redemption tier may be rolled forward for one additional programme year. Any carried-forward balance not redeemed within the permitted additional year expires, subject to the applicable redemption request deadline.
Outstanding Invoices and Account Standing
Express Transit may suspend the issue or redemption of all unissued vouchers and outstanding rewards whenever any invoice on the customer’s account is overdue, regardless of when the points were earned or whether the bookings giving rise to those points were paid in full.
Rewards remain on hold while overdue sums remain outstanding. Settlement of individual earlier invoices does not override the requirement for the customer’s entire account to be up to date at the time of issue or redemption.
If the customer ceases trading, enters administration, liquidation or another formal insolvency process, or fails to settle amounts due, Express Transit reserves the right, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, to cancel unredeemed points and unissued vouchers, including rewards earned on earlier fully paid bookings. Any such cancellation is subject to applicable insolvency law and other mandatory legal rights.
Reward Expiry and Former Customers
Eligible points and unissued rewards must be requested by 28 February following the relevant programme year, unless Express Transit expressly agrees otherwise in writing. No vouchers are issued automatically. Balances eligible for the one-additional-year carry-forward exception are treated as set out above.
Requests received after the applicable deadline may be refused and the unclaimed points or rewards may expire. A timely request does not guarantee immediate issue: redemption remains subject to account-standing, verification and all other eligibility conditions.
Customers who cease placing bookings may request eligible, unissued rewards only before the applicable deadline and only where their account is fully up to date. The expiry and account-standing rules apply equally to former customers.
Where a timely redemption request is suspended because invoices are overdue, Express Transit may continue withholding the vouchers until the overdue balance is settled. Any subsequent cancellation or forfeiture is subject to applicable law and the other provisions of these terms.
Voucher Use
Vouchers are issued via GiftPay Business and are subject to its terms and those of participating retailers.
Vouchers may be used for purchases, staff rewards, charitable donations or internal incentives.
Points and unissued vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash or used as credit or discounts against transport invoices.
Mileage Calculation
All mileage is calculated based on Express Transit’s routing systems and operational decisions. These calculations are final and binding for the purposes of the programme.
General Terms
Express Transit reserves the right to modify, suspend or withdraw the programme with prior notice, subject to applicable law and any accrued rights that cannot lawfully be restricted.
Points reset at the end of each programme year unless otherwise stated, including the permitted one-year carry-forward.
The programme is a discretionary customer incentive, subject to these terms and applicable law.
